Cons:
While the P79003FX sounds more and more like a gamer’s dream laptop, it has a short battery life. It can run for a maximum of 3 hours only. Better than the P-7808u FX which only runs for an hour. This is however very short compared to what Acer releases on the market. For example, the Acer Aspire 8930G-7665 can run for seven straight hours.
Although the size of the screen is okay for movie or gaming, the LCD screen of the P79003FX isn’t as good. It only has a resolution of 1440×900. It’s a far cry from the 1920×1200 resolution that the Asus G71 Quad Core can give on screens of the same size.

With its power and performance, the P79003FX is indeed one of the best gaming laptops out there. The low resolution of the display screen is balanced by its ability to be connected to HDTV. The short battery life may also not pose that much of a problem for gamers since most of them won’t probably mind plugging their laptops.
