Becoming A Professional Tennis Player
Becoming a tennis professional is the most challenging amongst all sports. Just like golf, it is a solo sport where all the pressure is bombarded to only one person. That is why; one learns a valuable lesson in self reliance. You just need to hone your skills and play with practice tennis balls until you perfect your serve.
First and foremost, you need to have that burning passion to become a pro. It starts with the heart and motivation for you to achieve that goal. You should start at an early age. Mostly, tennis players start at an early age like 6 or 7 years old. If you are just starting out, don’t worry because it’s never too late.
You need to hire your own coach. It may be costly because you need a personal one-on-one coaching. Be sure to hire a coach from one of the best teaching pros. If you want, you could also join some tennis camps to get that rigorous training. You will be able to learn and master the different strokes. You will be able to hit every shot with a forehand or a backhand. You can even do a top spin or a slice down the line or halfway through the valley. You will also have to perfect your serve. It has to be strong and running over 100 miles per hour.
Start winning some local and USTA sanctioned events. If you do get a USTA ranking, you can begin joining professional qualifying tournaments. This is the gateway to becoming a professional player. You get to be invited to bigger tournaments and you need to work your way up. Lastly, don’t forget to practice, practice, and practice. You hear this all the time but this will help you become a top tennis player. Go ahead and get your racket and practice tennis balls.
How to Make Money in the Ghetto Fast With No Investment
I was looking for ways to make money in my neighborhood, but all of the ideas I found online wouldn’t work where I live. I needed to know how to make money in the ghetto, not in rich neighborhoods where you can find people who will pay you $20 an hour to walk their dogs!
Finally I realized that no matter how much research I did I wasn’t going to find anything. It was up to me to figure it out. After taking a look around, I realized there were ways to make money all around – even in the ghetto.
The first thing I realized is that even people who don’t have a ton of money are willing to invest in their kids’ futures. Obviously the poorer neighborhoods have worse schools than the more affluent ones so my first course of action was to offer tutoring services to people’s kids. I knew I couldn’t charge a ton but found that if I got a group or 4 or 5 kids and tutored them together, I could make quite a bit of money while staying within their parents budget.
While I was doing this tutoring I realized there were a ton of kids who had no where to go after school and ended up wandering the neighborhoods getting into trouble just because their parents couldn’t afford after school care. While my goal was to make money I realized that I could help them out and make a fortune at the same time. By watching up to 10 kids at once I was able to make $50 an hour and still have their parents afford my services. Even in the ghetto you can find ways to make money fast. The idea is to charge little money for services you can perform simultaneously.
